Throughout 2020, the demand for audio/visual (AV) equipment and installations has skyrocketed. Businesses and educational institutions are increasingly conducting operations remotely. In order to make this transition, corporate conference facilities and university lecture halls are leveraging the latest A/V and teleconferencing technologies to stay connected with customers and continue educating students.
The Integration Division at KR Wolfe takes pride in training our technicians and managers in the latest audio/visual and mounting solutions in the marketplace. The “Wolfe Pack” has the expertise to adapt A/V technology to any client’s needs, including mixing and matching equipment to set up the optimum infrastructure. Integration services also include testing overall system performance and providing technical support.
Whether your needs are for video routing, video teleconferencing (VTC), rack building, display systems, codecs, IP-over-fiber, transcoders, decoders, network switches, integrated intercoms, IP cameras, projection systems, projection screens, audio systems, analog systems, digital systems or any combination of platforms. From simple to complex, KR Wolfe is your one-stop-shop for AV and IT technology integration.
Advanced AV systems can include a wide range of integrated components. Digital displays can be installed in meeting rooms, classrooms and public spaces on a university campus to present graphics, animation, slideshows, announcements, schedules and more. Conferencing technology, comprised of digital displays, cameras, microphones and interactive whiteboards, can substantially reduce travel costs while helping to maintain client and partner relationships.
KR Wolfe AV and IT Integration Capabilities
Completed AV Integration Projects
The KR Wolfe Installation Division has been retained by world-class technology companies as well as some of the nation’s top educational institutions. The “Wolfe Pack” worked closely with AVI-SPL on a large, cutting edge project at Juniper Networks in the San Jose area. The upgraded conference rooms are using the latest in networking and AV integration, including the SVSI Company’s encoder and decoder components for routing video over network IP.
All conference rooms have large displays via wall monitor or projection screen systems; audio provided by room speakers and flush mount tabletop microphones. Each room also displays meetings and times as well as control room audio and video sources via iPads, one interior and one exterior. This integrated system will serve as a benchmark for what large corporations will need in future conference room settings.
In March 2020, KR Wolfe teamed up with SITA, a global air transport IT solutions specialist for the integration of 20 new indoor Samsung Displays and mini DDC PC’s at Terminal 2. The site has existing Audio Video equipment and the KR Wolfe team needed to make sure that the newly installed AV equipment match the quality of the building and the equipment in place.
