KR Wolfe is at the forefront of New York’s newest children’s hospital and inpatient pavilion unveiling June 24th!
We onboarded this project back in January 2017 and will be completing the installation for a total of 34 operating rooms this upcoming August. Initially, KR Wolfe met Reagan Stuann, Digital OR Marketing Manager of Brainlab in May of 2016, and was given this opportunity to positively grow our company.
The new inpatient Helen L. Martin S. Kimmel Pavilion is a digitally-focused facility, expecting to have the latest healthcare digital technologies distributed throughout the 21-story building. The 830,000 square ft. space will include 11 patient floors and 374 private inpatient single-bedded rooms. There will also be an increase to the health system’s capacity for procedure-based volumes with 30 plus operating rooms including image-guided labs.
As stated by Project Manager John Derry, “Our main focus for this project was to install BrainLab’s integration system based on a Barco Tegris IP based switches. Each of the 34 operating rooms has dedicated a rack that will house audio equipment, codec for video teleconferencing, and video encoders/decoders.”
The undertaking of the digitally-focused pavilion has helped strengthen KR Wolfe’s new and existing relationships. Beginning of February 2017, we were project managing Union labor for the in-room cable pulls. We also partnered with Stryker and Siemens within the space to provide the highest quality and service.
Due to this project, KR Wolfe generated about $2million in revenue!! We are very appreciative of our hardworking Field Specialists, Project Managers and Partners who all took place in the NYU Kimmel development. They have actively worked together to deliver exceptional service.
